There have been over two thousand invented languages, of which only a handful are still spoken in Britain. Using interviews with speakers of Iso, Esperanto, and Volapuk, and rare archive material, Language Lessons examines the history and present state of the artificial language movement.

Submission Dates
All films are to be submitted on dvd by 11am on Monday 7th May 2012 to Melanie Pitman in the PG student office.
The Critical Analysis Essay is to be submitted by 11am on Monday 14th May 2012 to Melanie Pitman in the PG student office.
In addition to the hard copies, an electronic copy of the essay is to be submitted via Blackboard.

1. The production of a short experimental film (70%)
2. The submission of a critical analysis essay (2000 words) (30%)
