There will be two elements of assessment for this module:
1. The production of a short experimental film (70%)
2. The submission of a critical analysis essay (2000 words) (30%)
Assessment consists of the submission of a short experimental film, accompanied by a written critical analysis of the process of experimentation and production.
The production element will be assessed on the following criteria: Research and development of idea (20%)
Image and sound capture (10%)
Structure and Form (20%)
Post-production (20%) (Total 70%)
The written element comprises a Critical Analysis of the production process that allows students to reflect on their own practice and apply appropriate theoretical concepts (30%)
